Apparently, they've used this device or something like it in my neighborhood.
Now, I can map my ride from home to work on the bike paths using Google.
Gotta love it.

Google Bike Mapping
I learned something just yesterday. I'm a big user of Google Maps but I only yesterday learned that they can give directions via bicycle. See http://maps.google.com/biking

Great tool. I just noticed it as well. It's really handy for a recreational ride like the Knox County bike trail too. There are many little businesses and attractions near the bike path and those show up as you look at the bike trail.
