The Garmin Did It

If I had planned it, there would have been heck to pay. The Garmin did it.

Driving from Skyline Drive, Virginia to the Bay Bridge near Annapolis recently, my family got a surprise tour of Washington, D.C. The Garmin did it.

I planned two days in D.C. last year. My wife permitted zero this one. The Garmin did it.

Hey, kids. That's the Washington Monument. There's the Lincoln Memorial. See where George Bush used to live? The Garmin did it.

It's my wife's Garmin.

Her Garmin picked a route even I would have vetoed had I realized it. But I didn't mind the D.C. detour one bit.
