Getting breakfast this morning, I got to overhear a great story.
A woman was in with a baby carrier buying donuts. Asked how old her baby was, she responded saying, "Three and half months" and, then, volunteered her personal story.
She was, herself, a native of Newark. Though she now lived in Columbus, she came this morning with her baby to make sure that baby could take in the smells of Riley's.
They say the sense of smell is a strong one for memories. I bet hometown smells have even stronger memories still.
Great blog, Rick! I like how you capture intresting snippets of your day as well as your insights into business.
