Andrew Liveris is defining the problem where I'm reading now.
This quote from Page 18 explains his point of view: "What happened was that somewhere along the way, a leadership class emerged--in the public and private sector--that no longer valued the manufacturing sector."
Liveris blames the erosion of our U.S. manufacturing base on "choices we made as a nation."
