Day 1: RF Antennae
Yesterday, I tweeted about Boeing.
Boeing took over privatized Air Force work in 1996 remanufacturing inertial guidance systems for aircraft and missile systems. Ten years later, the manufacture of RF antennae for the international AWACS fleet was added to the product mix. Now, five years later, Boeing is in production of next generation antennae systems for U.S. and allied countries.
A one-of-a-kind anechoic chamber gives the Heath facility a unique capability to test and calibrate the antennae systems.
