Silicon and quartz rods and crucibles consumed in the manufacture of products ranging from semiconductors to solar panels are part of the product mix out of Momentive's Hebron plant.
An expansion is about to open up more capacity for this former GE Quartz plant which doubled its employment in the middle of the Great Recession.
The high-tech story of engineers and technicians working in a clean room environment for unique, highly value-added product is a great Licking County story indeed.
