I'm off this week recharging my batteries to get a running start on the new year.
Part of my goals for this time is finishing the unfinished.
The mummy statue above has been on my to do list for 9 1/2 years! Bought on our honeymoon, my wife and I saw the headdress on this wooden art piece break off during our move to Newark in 2002.
It was left to storage in the basement until just recently. That's just one of my numerous excuses for not tackling the job.
It only took 10 minutes, but I got it back on and, except to really close-up scrutiny, it's not a bad repair job.
