I'm updating past issues on occasion over the next few days.
I wrote way back about the issue of extending the T.J. Evans Trail south from Heath to Lakewood High School along the old B&O Line in Licking Township. The issue is among many I have written on recreational trails in Licking County.
I'm pleased to see asphalt is now down on the path. Soon, bike riders and walkers will be able to more safely get from destinations in Heath to Dawes Arboretum via this path.
There were a ton of champions of this who had to endure a lot of battles to get to this point. It was worth it. I hope they agree.
