Today, I bought the household the Harry Potter series. Valtimort is Harry's nemesis.
I couldn't find the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series. So, I compromised.
Come to think of it, the Hardy Boys were starting to get stale when I was reading them in the 70's. Who uses the term jalopy any more? Nancy's closest electronic device was a transistor radio.
I guess until someone modernizes the classics from my youth, a few chapters of Rowling's series is in order.
