I'm watching employment.
Licking County lost 100 to 80,200 for the month of November. At the same time, the labor force added 100 to 85,200.
The 200 net negative result saw our unemployment rate rise to 5.9%.
Though not a positive trend, it is still noteworthy that these numbers are near historical highs. Until October rates were published, the county had never been above 80,000 employed persons before.
No worries here.
