STEM Skills in the Media

Today, my kids and I will be at The Works for STEM Media Day, one of three industry-led events at The Works this first quarter of 2013.  The Noon to 4 p.m. events are designed to show STEM skills and careers to parents and kids.

WHIZ-TV is bringing a meteorologist.  My daughter, Brynley, will love that.  The science of weather is a STEM skill indeed.

Someone will be there to show off RF broadcasting.  Radio frequency engineering is no task for a fourth grader.  That's a STEM skill too.

I can't wait!
